Not much appeal

Whole plot is based around the wife leaving and the husband dealing with being a single dad, but it takes forever for that to happen. Neither are very appealing.

Oh, and I dont know anyone smart enough to get into Harvard, but dumb enough to struggle with Calculus much less fail the class. Last time I checked they were teaching Calc 2 in high schools.
