Ron Paul Changed My Life...

I was a hardcore partisan democrat before I found out about Ron Paul. When I first saw him in the Republican debates in '07, I marveled at the levels of logic, compassion, sound thinking, and common sense he exhibited. He seemed to dislike war, Imperialism, and torture even more than most of the Democratic candidates running at that time, which instantly won me over. His message moved me so much that, even though I'd never been interested in economics before, I started voraciously reading anything I could find by Murray Rothbard and other Austrian schoolers.

What's even more amazing is that I've asked around, and I'm far from the only person who's had an experience like this. Many people who used to be rabid liberals or neoconservatives have been brought over to a more complete and consistent philosophy of liberty through the Paul campaign. If all this change can come just from one Presidential race, one that didn't even end in a party nomination for Dr. Paul, imagine what we could do in 2012!

Ron Paul should have won the election in 2008. :(

i'm in the exactly same camp as you.....although ever since the 2006 election I stopped being a partisan Democrat because I stopped trusting the Democrats due to the Iraq war....before that, I even started to agree with socialism......

but ever since I heard about Ron Paul, I did a lot of reading and research and now i consider myself a libertarian/constitutional conservative....

Same story as mine...my understanding of polics, economics, and America has been radically altered by the path Dr Paul inspired me to take. Wish Netflix would carry this movie...

I'm not that proud of everything I've done, but I'm not that ashamed, either.
