I'm soooo glad this is finished

I can't believe I spent five nights watching this. I wont repeat here the many drawbacks of this TV miniseries as they have be eloquently covered in detail elsewhere on this board. I knew after the second episode the series was going nowhere but I was drawn back every week. It brought to mind something I'd read years ago about people being mesmerised by the swaying of a cobra, you can't drag your eyes away even though you know it will kill you.

Even my wife, who is normally very tolerant of mediocre TV, was ready to throw a brick through our screen by the last episode.

To whomever was responsible for authorising the broadcasting of this so-called drama, please, please, go back to your mummy and ask her not to let you out again until you are at least 10 years old.

That wasn't very sporting, using real bullets.

Oh wow, I felt like that about Lost, managed to skip several seasons thank god, but it's like a road accident, you know you ain't gonna like what you see, but you just gotta look.

me too. good start bad ending. typical british drama.

typical of an ITV british dram you mean!!! thinking of ITV makes me feel sick. The BBC generally manage to do some good series, did you watch sherlock?

The yanks often heap praise on us Brits for coming up with consistently good shows but The Deep proves that we are also quite capable of producing utter rubbish

true j-cameron22. I love british tv being an aussie, it is easier to enjoy than american. This show however was just torture (with the exception of the first 30-60minutes). The only reason I held on watching to the end was in hope that they would all die.
