Not scripted

Maybe I'm the only one here, but I don't think this show is fake at all. It's one of the realest shows on TruTV. With everything going on at the Full Throttle Saloon, I don't think they really need to stage anything.

reply

Hope you haven't been waiting all these months for someone to agree with you. ALL reality TV is scripted - ALL.

reply

No, I haven't. Forgot I even posted this. Lol

reply

Also, scripted is totally different then staged or set up. There are definitely scripted reality shows like Hardcore Pawn and those towing shows. This is not scripted. Set up maybe, manipulated probably. But completely scripted, I don't think so. Just my opinion though.

reply

As someone who has been friends with Mike and Angie since long before the show, and who has actually filmed for the show...I can tell you that it is NOT scripted. The Full Throttle has PLENTY of drama happen during the week in Sturgis and camera crews just run around all over the place to capture it. What IS scripted though, is their on camera interviews. There are producers who take the footage and craft what Mike, Angie, Jessie or whoever says, often time telling them to act mad when saying this line or that, or giving them witty things to say about a certain situation, etc. But what you see happening during the week is as real as it gets.

reply

any chance of full throttle being picked up by a different network?

reply

I started watching not long ago, and this show is not scripted at all. Some situations are expanded upon, others enhanced for dramatic effect, but not scripted.

It would be quite a feat to script a show like this, with everything going on it would be near impossible.

Having said that, with everything that goes on during bike week, you figure they could get a little more creative. It does capture reality, Mike's there to separate his customers from their money, period. The production crew seems to try their best to tone this down but they seem to fail.

I'm saying there's anything whatsoever wrong with FTS and Ballard squeezing out every last dime from his customers that he can, but there's so much else going on they seem to dedicate way too much screen time to it, it gets boring and repetitive.

Happiness is a belt-fed weapon.

reply

Actually, Michael's "squeezing"of his customers has dine a lot for a ton of people. He offers free concerts and not unheard of drink prices. He gives back to his home town and has changed the lives of quite a few. He has friends, family, followers, that have all benefited from his kindness and patience.

reply

I just stated the obvious, he is there to maximize his profit in the little time he has to do it.

There is nothing wrong with that, and as is always the collateral effect of capitalism, he helps a lot of people in the process. His customers seem to have a great time and we are in total agreement about the help he provides to many, many people.

The main beef the supposed local who's been disparaging Michael, the rally and the show strikes me as being little more than the pettiness of human envy.

Happiness is a belt-fed weapon.

reply

Wow...and I have some Florida swamp land to sell you.

reply

That's your contribution to the conversation. Lol. Very original

reply

Anything this dumb deserves a cliche'.

You're welcome.

reply

Why is that dumb? Because you said so?

Good thing I don't give 2 *beep* about what you think.

Have a great day

reply

You're the only one I know that thinks this show is legit, so my opinion is the least of your problems.

You're scam bait waiting to happen.

reply

Obviously I'm not, you can see there are others posting that agree with me.

I think you just want to be an *beep* and use clever cliches. No one cares, now go away.

reply

but I don't think this show is fake at all. It's one of the realest shows on TruTV.

Sorry if I hurt your fragile feelings, Mrs. Teller, but your quote regarding one of the most the most obnoxious "reality TV" frauds on TV is just cherry.

Hope they send you a coupon for reduced priced whiskey.

reply

Can you please explain to me why your stalking the message board for a show you hate?

Doesn't make much sense.

reply

Because he's a troll?

Happiness is a belt-fed weapon.

reply

I think you're right. Lol

reply

Had you bothered to actually read threads you'd realize that it isn't just the show that stinks, but the entire Sturgis scam the general public should be warned to avoid.

Trolls would actually encourage you to waste your time and money, which you and cobb ram do so well.

reply

You have no idea how I spend my money, so not sure how you can comment on that. As far as wasting time, yup definitely have going back and forth with you but I watched this show so I have a reason to be here. You claim you do not and HATE it soooo much that you just have to be an *beep* to everyone who likes it. So, I would say you win the award for most time wasted.

yes....you're the only one here.

Thank you for the comedy Mrs. Teller.

And good night.

reply

No, obviously I'm not as you can see by the other posters and the thousands of fans.

You seriously need to get a life if you are spending your days trolling this board jumping at the chance to argue with anyone who likes the show. It's pretty pitiful. Lol

It only takes me 60 seconds to respond to your delightfully naive posts, Mrs. Teller. It's no inconvenience for me, but thank you for the concern and unsolicited mothering. lol

No, obviously I'm not as you can see by the other posters and the thousands of fans.

I really hate to be the one to bring this to your attention, but the thousands of guys that watch this show like to see those cute little pole dancers wiggle their posteriors in front of the cameras. The "fans" that you're valiantly defending are sitting at home muttering, "nice rack" every few minutes, assuming you're acquainted with the expression.

And you're sitting at home speculating on the sincerity of Michael Ballard and Jesse James.

Mrs. Teller you're my favorite huckleberry.

P.S. And Teen Mom 2? lol

reply

Oh so now you know what everyone is doing. Are you in all these people's houses while they watch the show? You know what everyone else is thinking? No you don't, you are speculating. Again, nice try though.

reply

And now you have an issue with other shows I watch? I watch a variety of different kinds of shows as you can see while stalking me. It's entertainment.

I find it very amusing though that it bothers you that much that people like shows that you do not.

reply

It doesn't bother me in the least Mrs. Teller. You keep watching those shows, because without people like you, my favorite shows might end up on the bottom of the intellectual food chain of entertainment poop.

And I didn't realize that one click on your public profile was "stalking", but I'm glad that you're flattered.

Carry on Mrs. Teller.

reply

Touché, Kurt! I have a feeling "MrsTeller" is secretly Angie Carlson. And if not, she wishes she was her...hehe

reply

Angie is so cute. It's the only reason to watch the show at all. And some of the bikes are cool. That's why it surprises me that women would even watch the show. Lots of jiggling girls on every episode.

reply

$500 per night for a room. LOL Just heard the report this morning on the local news
(8-6-15). The Sturgis Rally is this week August 3-9, and riders are already reporting insane prices. And the $500 per night rooms aren't even that impressive.

Insane prices with food and gas is also being reported.

Rip offs claiming to be legit capitalism. Why defend it? And yeah, that's what this slimy show is all about.

I go where ever the wealthy don't go.
