$500 per night for a room. LOL Just heard the report this morning on the local news
(8-6-15). The Sturgis Rally is this week August 3-9, and riders are already reporting insane prices. And the $500 per night rooms aren't even that impressive.
Insane prices with food and gas is also being reported.
Rip offs claiming to be legit capitalism. Why defend it? And yeah, that's what this slimy show is all about.
I go where ever the wealthy don't go.
I hear ya, Kurt! The bike rally has long been a shameless tourist trap. You know the old saying: money is the root of all evil - and Sturgis is no exception.
shareHow true. It's too bad that had to happen, but it's now a rally for the financially affluent. Which is all fine, because the bikers I've talked to want to have rallies in states that legalized weed. I understand.
shareI love going to the Black Hills any other time. I went in May a few years ago. Pretty much had my run of the place.
I don't see riding around in a long line of dime store bikers everywhere I go as a good time at all.
