She and "her horse" did those ads for Dish TV.

Build a man a fire, he's warm for a day. Light a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life!

thanks very much dude!

What a misfire......they should have used Christie Brinkley.....and had her interact with Rusty....some kind of callback to the first one.

reply

I think that whole scene was the callback to the first one

You know, there's a whole database of movies on the internet that specializes in just such information.

Are you saying there's a site out there that is just one big internet movie database?
Is this a new thing? What's the link?

Why is it whenever I'm having fun, it's wrong?

reply

That was not funny. Are we to assume she died? What's funny about that?

It's called black comedy.

Maybe this young mystery woman was the daughter,of the original mystery woman in the earlier movies.

Remember the baby in the back seat of mystery womans car in Vegas vacation?
I'll bet that was her...all grown up!

reply

Yep

LOL because think about it---in all the other vacation movies theres a hot girl staring and being all sexy NOT WATCHING THE ROAD AT ALL---realistically they would totally run off the road or get hit. So so this time they showed what would realistically happen. In all the others too just like this one she literally doesnt look back at the road like Rusty does looking back and forth at least. I thought it was absolutely hilarious. I did not see it coming, but I laughed and thought "That totally IS what would happen and what i always think when i watch scenes like that.... how they are somehow safe not watching the road at all just because its a movie" ---stuff like that is hilarious. When movies (comedies) are like aaaaand this is what actually would happen...in this case, she gets hit lol

It definitely was a callback, as another poster put it, although as you stated they took it in a different direction. Being a healthy, hetero- male I just thought, "Oh what a tragedy that would be."
