Piece of crap mostly

First off I want to say I am drawn to darker films and am not put off by damaged characters or untidy endings, but this movie was horrible. It was slow and boring, and most of the characters were annoying and unsympathetic. I think the idea of it had potential, but the bad writing and bad directing spoiled it. Somehow it reminded me of a low-budget "Crash" wannabe, but was nowhere near to even 1/4 the quality of that film. Re: Dane Cook, I found it odd how so many trashed him. I am not a fan of his, but I didn't think his acting was bad. I was less impressed with Kali Hawk. Her acting was awful. I was also unimpressed by Julie Benz. The only thing good about the film was Barbara Hershey, who was great as always. I don't know what she was doing in this crappy film, except that she had some good scenes.
