Some really dumb *beep* that ruined the film

For starters, ok I can see if the ghost is terrorizing your friends & family such as it was in the case of Dean Cain's predicament I can see selling it quickly online just to get rid of it. The part about the three kids that bought it online was a good set-up. After that point is was just ridiculous & not entertaining at all.

I guess the 18th century ghost was a member of Ebay & stayed logged in 24/7, it should have been able to be given to someone who accepts ownership of it, I've seen other films with that preface that actually worked. The whole having to buy it was utter crap. In terms of scariness they failed on every level. There was so many other things they could have exploited to make this a much better film. The ghost never manifested itself other than the very lame & overused CGI shadow just standing there doing nothing. If your film is based solely on a ghost at least get that part right. Absolutely no creativity whatsoever in the writing & direction. They seem to have relied solely on the acting of the three which might have been ok if they were actually good at it. The entire film was a bore, except the girl being easy on the eyes, and even that wore off due to her "acting" skills.
