So...was the end basically saying Hog was breaking these women for the slave trade?

I haven't the faintest idea what the ending meant. I wish I knew. I tend to think it was something very bad though.

This is what I gathered, yes. It seems a fair assumption.

The woman was portrayed as someone who would do anything for money, and was subjected to various indignities early in the film. I can't see that she would need 'breaking in' in such a manner.

I interpreted that the guy who took her at the end was going to kill her.

The first guy was having his fun, and then the second guy had his fun (by killing her).

Near the end, it seemed as if she would be released, but then we see our hopes were being built up only to be shot down.
