Somehow i think they're over charging for it.

Yeah....I was surprised to see it at Wal*Mart. I just hope they continue to carry more of their films there. Especially at such a great price.

Oh my good god.

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Where are the MST3K guys when you need them?

I hate DVDs, but I'd buy this to have it! On ebay, they're asking @$15 for it!

I hated the Downey version, mainly because he was his usual smarmy self, as in the "Iron Man" movies and others. But, I really enjoyed this one! The approach reminds me of the short-lived TV series "The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne".

I like an athletic, adventurous Watson, more youthful, quite unlike the waffling fellow we're accustomed to. And, a slight, rather shabby Holmes is interesting, too, a very different interpretation yet with the same behavior. We saw them as boys in "Young Sherlock Holmes"; here, they are older but not at the age we generally see them.

Next time I get to Wal-Mart, I hope they have copies at that price! I'd buy one for my friend, who also loves "TSAOJV".

I was happy to buy it for 5$ online a while back. I love most things Holmes, and this had a lot of fan service to people who've read the stories.
