I watch Soy Tu Duena,Fantasma, El Clon, Corazon Albieto, etc.I like both Telememundo and Unisivion Telenovelas,- When I travel to Mexico City or the Mexican Pacific Coast, the novelas aren't squashed together so much as in the USA. I did not watch Verdado Occulta (YANEZ) the first time when was broadcast in the US, in part because I had not discovered him or his brilliant acting. He is so emotional and has a ceratin "following" . He has his pluses and minises (like the other actores mas brillantes.) i'd like to see Yanez take a role where he is a villian or an unsympathetic parent.. he's grown in to those roles and at 50 he could expqned into another level of acting. Unfortunately he can't play the younger romantic leads much longer; BUT 50 ISNT THE END OF THE RoAD OR DEATH SENTENCE. I think he'd be challenged molre with am actress who could match him blow by blow. MHO{.

Areceley, but shwas much better in the Regina role (sympathetic)than Aimee (antagonistic)

No te preocupes; Yanez will eventually be playing parents of adults. Maybe he'll want a change of pace eventually to play a villain in Spanish (He has already done so in English).

I disagree with you about Arambula; she did a slightly better job as Aimee because she definitely enjoyed playing her. Her Regina lacked the depth of Edith Gonzales' Monica or Leticia Calderon's Anna Cristina, especially in the first half. She got slightly better at the end, but I don't think she was up to this challenge.

There was no reason that these two sisters needed to be played by the same actress; they were technically fraternal twins. I think that Danna Garcia and Altair Jarabo would have been excellent as the two sisters.

Sorry about the last two sentences. My keyboard is sensitive. I would have loved for two actresses to play Aimee/Regina instead of Aracely. But the bar was set so high by Edith Gonzalez. As with any adaptation and remake (they are doing a lot of them - I wish there was more original material) some interpretations are mas bueno and some are menos.

You said it. Did you see her episode of Mujeres Asesinas? Brilliant and scary as hell.
