Well, I for one is very excited to see that there is a sequel in the making.

Well, it was worth a shot. But a low-publicity project like this was never going to succeed getting $300.000 in just 45 days. In the end, they managed just over 10% of their pledged goal.
Pity, I would have loved a sequel.
They could have easily gotten the money.
I think their main problem was that the campaign didn't get any exposure.
I have don't know if this is the case, but it seems that the campaign was one of those "if we just put this on the Internet people will find out about this". And that's unfortunately rarely the case.
I would've pitched in if I'd known. I found out about this far too late. Shame. :-(
