Troll voting. If you look at the vote breakdown 85% of the votes are 10 and the average (mean) rating is 8.8. Normally IMDb manages to weed out such manipulation with their weighted average system that means that votes where the votes have only a few votes or all 1 and 10 account for almost nothing. However this movie proves that a high enough proportion of 10 votes can still mess with the system even when clearly trolling. There needs to be a tighter system. Read the reviews and you'll find a more accurate IMDb general opinion.
