Did they ever use Michonne's "pet walker" trick again in this show?

I stopped watching in season 7, but I was curious, did they ever use Michonne's "pet walker" trick again in this show?

It's always bothered me for a couple of reasons.

I understand the premise that removing their jaws makes them docile, but why would the other walkers ignore her simply because she has them on a leash or is standing in their presence?

If it's as effective as it's made out to be, why not continue to do it? Why abandon the practice? Did she just forget that she used to use this one simple trick to be "invisible" to the walkers?

It would seem that they could have a stable of the things tied to hitching post outside the gate. Need to go somewhere? Grab a pet walker or two and be on your way.

not when you posted that , but as of last week , she's at it again!

Best explanation is it looked really cool in the comics and they wanted to recreate it for the TV show, even though it might not be practical to do it all the time.

One thing that bothered me is, Michonne slices off their mouths too, but they still kinda have a mouth area (just no lips). I feel like the walker instinct would be to keep biting and aggressively lunching no matter what, lips or no lips. But whenever Michonne does the walker pet trick, they are always docile and just march slowly behind her for miles and make zero noise.

Yeah, there's not a lot of logic behind why removing the jaw makes them docile. But even if that's the way the fictional universe is written, then so be it. After all, it is about the dead reanimating, so the logic of why things happen the way they do goes out the window.

For me, if there's a fictional premise, whatever it may be, then at least be consistent with it. But the constant waffling on what works, what doesn't, when it works, and when it doesn't and all of the plot driven inconsistencies within that fictional universe breaks the suspension of disbelief. That then takes the viewer out of the show.

That's pretty much why I stopped watching in Season 7. I just couldn't do it anymore.

She takes out their teeth and entire jaw, not just their lips. Their instinct might be to bite and lunch on anything, but they have nothing to bite with. And of course, the show is fiction. Perhaps once they lose their tongue, they do become docile; they creators could write that feature in.

Finally - they do make noise. She kills two of them because they were growling. It was the scene where they hid in the bushes as the governor shot people by the helicopter
