Anyone else sick of the time jumps?

Is anyone else sick off the show doing time jumps all of a sudden for the last few series? I mention this as I read there is another time jump this season.

Maybe it's just me but it sometimes feels like lazy writing e.g. we are here and need to get to here oh let's just do a time jump and pretend nothing much happened inbetween. Obviously some stuff happened but surely a lot more would have happened between the 6 year time jump for example.

I get sometimes they need to show time had passed e.g. for negan to show he had changed he needed to be a prisoner for a while but it seems they are just using them now for the sake of it

I for one completely disagree. It had made the show (somewhat) fresh again.

If it was just the once then yeah - but now it seems like it is happening too much

No..it always seemed silly that so much had occurred in such a short length of time...and them going through every inch of the zombie apocalypse often became pretty tedious.
I'm glad we got to skip a bunch of tedious.

The reason youre sick of it is because every show is doing it. I agree with you, its overkill now.
