Alpha/Lydia

My guess is that The Whisperers will turn on Alpha once they find out she lied about killing Lydia.

I don't know how she thinks she can get away with it. It's a huge sign of weakness on her part.

Maybe Gamma will take over(?)

When did she claim to have killed Lydia?

Gamma will have to fight Beta if he wants to be the new leader. That is, if Delta doesn't get to him first!

JUST LIKE ALL ALONG....BETA REALIZING SHE DIDNT KILL HER WAS A HUGE DEAL IN THE LAST EPISODE.

I don't remember when Alpha actually said she killed her, it was sometime at the end of last season, but everyone is under the impression that Alpha killed her own daughter for the greater good. Then, she is caught by Beta preparing an area in the woods for Lydia and he realizes she lied about killing her. While he can forgive her, I don't think everyone in the group will and it's going to come back to bite her big time when they realize Lydia is alive. Gamma sacrificed her own sister for the benefit of the Whisperers. I'm pretty sure she'll be in contention for Alpha's spot once that happens. That's what I'm thinking might happen anyway.

And with Carol after her too, it should be good!

I remember at the end of last season Alpha was crying over Lydia, which is against her own rules. She rips into anyone else who does that. One of the group saw her crying, unfortunately for him. Beta saw too but she didn't care because he's absolutely loyal.

Alpha commands obedience from most of her "pack" because she's kept them alive so long. With a few it's strictly fear keeping them in line though. If she were to make a long enough string of questionable choices or the ambitious ones stopped being afraid of her, she could easily lose control.
