Can't say I'm surprised. Not just busy with Black Panther but since she's taken over Andrea's storyline her departure couldn't be that far off.

She would be stupid to say she wants to stay when she could get more money to return if she keeps her mouth shut and allows her manager or agent negotiate.
I can't blame anyone for leaving. It sounds like it takes a long time to film the series each year in the blazing heat of the Georgia summer.

But I heard she'll probably only do a few episodes next season sort of like Lauren Cohen has planned...

Maybe she'll just disappear and turn up in one of Rick's movies..
I think it would be great to see her reunited with Rick. But would she have to take Judith and her little boy with her?

The way they handled Maggie didn't feel like a move Maggie would've made but if Michonne was taken (and not killed off or off on some walkabout that she'd never realistically do) it would be a solution
I do think most fans do want to see them all reunited and it feels possible that she'd be up to do the TWD movies... so I find it a possible solution to keep Ricks films from feeling irrelevant when they finally appear..
I read an article saying they want her to be reunited with Rick and have her do the TV movies with him since they don't want to lose the character. If that's the plan, then Rick couldn't have died during that time jump.
She sounds like she wants to make movies and write so she'll have more time with the movies. I hope they keep their children on the show. I like Judith.
I kinda want her to die. I get why they are probably going to leave the door open for her to return, but they haven't killed off a big character since Glenn.
shareWell if they can get rid of Daryl and Carol we can have zero characters left on the show that is started out with. I love the Maggie story line too. Oh, she's ah......gone. She just up and left and went somewhere. Yeah, great story.
(ps - I know Michonne wasn't from the season 1 cast)
Daryl may be the only sure bet for staying. He appears to have a strong fan base. He has another show on the channel so he appears content to stick around for now.
