Is he supposed to be Rick's kid with Michonne?

I, so badly, want Rick to come back in a few years. Michonne tells him they have a kid together, only for him to look at the kid and see that it looks just like Jon Bernthal. Rick then quotes John Wayne (and later Luke Wilson) - "It's gettin' to be ri-goddamn-diculous!"
