Would you have liked for The Governor to have joined Rick's group?

During the The Governor's redemption episodes i wanted so bad for the Governor to join Rick's group and make peace with them and become a part of the regular cast. I mean how cool would it have been to have The Governor with them during the Terminus stuff and especially now with the war with Negan.

Just once i'd like to have someone redeem themselves from being a villain and join Rick, thats what i loved so much about Merle in S3 when he came back with Daryl, but that didn't last long.

Well they have Dwight now. The Gov would have flipped on Rick's group at Terminus and become a cannibal. Then he would have told Gareth to kill them immediately and not to mess around by shooting at their feet trying to keep them captive. Then he would have pulled a power move to become the Gov of Terminus.

Well Dwight doesn't really count, he was always a conflicted guy you could tell wasn't happy with Negan, he wasn't no straight up main villain or anything like The Governor.

I think Jadis is most likely to do the flip from villain to friend. You could see her start to transform when she started to speak in complete sentences.

Yeah i hope she ends up with Rick and becomes part of the group. Its funny i hated her and the trash people ever since they first showed up, but the second she started talking normal and crying i cared about her and hoped Rick helped her.

I can see her showing up and helping Rick while they're in a tight spot against Negan and thats how she gets Rick to forgive her and let her join them.

I agree, I was so amazed that Jadis started talking normally. It was a good ep with her.

No, I didn't see it, but there has been talk of Jadis becoming "Alpha".

I was actually intrigued by the garbage folk--- mostly because I am interested in linguistics and the evolution of language. It was bizarre for a group of people to suddenly start speaking differently from everyone else. Jadis basically explained the reason for that in the most recent episode. The fact that all these people just lived in the dump and spent their time creating art for art's sake was actually admirable-- except that they weren't very nice folks.
