Ok Carl seriously needs to stop wearing that hat

Am i the only one who thinks he looks ridiculous in that old tattered sheriff's hat from season 1?

It looked ok when he was a kid wearing it, but now that he's taller and older and has the hair of a woman and the hat is pretty much torn and moldy at this point, its not a very good look. It looks downright silly and almost comical.

I mean maybe he still wears it in the comics but it just doesn't translate well for a live action show with an actual person, it looks a little dumb. Theres a reason they didn't have Logan wearing yellow spandex like he did in the comics, cause it wouldn't look good in a live action adaptation.

It's interesting how the hat size grew as Carl got bigger.

If Carl decides he doesn't want to wear the hat anymore, won't Rick just begin wearing it again anyway?

reply

I love the hat. Besides he has to keep it. Future old Carl still has the hat in the Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special!!!

Never question the HAT
we are all the HAT and HAT is everything

He looks utterly ridiculous with that hat. He seriously needs to get rid of it. Hope the little stooge dies soon.

Talking about Carl, why the hell was he alone again? Isn't the rule in a post apocalyptic wasteland that you always go with a partner? But once again here we had Carl walking alone and than in the end of the episode he even goes back to the spot and leaves food for the guy! (But i got the feeling this character will have a bigger role in the WD universe in the future.)

Jesus, just realized Rick has a fucking baby from another thread, and now thinking about how he lets his fucking son just wander around wherever he wants in fucking zombie times. Rick's the worst dad of all time.

Oh come on..Carl is adolescent and it's almost impossible to keep one of those tethered to your side at all times. Besides, he's not the dolt child from the first several seasons. Carl can usually take care of himself these days. The apocalypse is nearly his complete life...Rick doesn't need to fret now every time he's out of eye sight.

Oh..and the hat..who really cares about the hat? To me it represents the bond between Rick and Carl(father and son) so I'm cool with it

My problem is the show slows down whenever he's on. He never has anything interesting to say. Even his teen rebelliousness is boring and empty. The kid is just reading lines at this point, annoying me.

You write your own series and then you can decide who wears a hat, what kind, and for how long.
