crossover with Fear the Walking Dead

Mixed on this. They have been saying for years that this would never happen. Of course, a mislead, not surprising at all. TV producers in general do that, and those for The Walking Dead tend to be notorious for it. Out of necessity, sure. Would be less necessary if the show wasn't predictable.

What's interesting is the presumed ramifications for FtWD. It'll be impossible to do without a big time jump. And seemingly not without ending the spin-off. That'd be fine, but whoever crosses over to the parent show will now just have the biggest origin story ever on the show.

I think this would be great fun
But the groups are a sooo far apart...
Is it too early to start 'shipping Daryl and Madison??
Dardison...Maryl...dammit help me out!!
Ive got fanfic to write:)

reply

Haha. I feel like it'll be a simple solution, whoever this character is gets on a boat and is just adrift on the Gulf until they round Florida then hit the main show.

reply

Well that could work...
Darylson...Madyrel...dammit!!

Just wondering who it will be. I don't think it's a deliberate 'mislead'.

I'm wondering if they are doing this because of the rumors of Rick maybe getting killed off this season.

Instead of crossing over in to TWD they should cross over in to FTWD. That show needs something exciting to happen. Imagine if Abraham showed up in FTWD. Ratings would spike.

reply

That would be pretty sweet, and unexpected.

I hope not though, hope it's someone to the original show. Mainly to start wrapping up the spin-off. Plus, I can't speak for the actor, but he might not want to return either.

reply

I think Michael Cudlitz would love to return. He seemed to love being on the show and fans would go crazy. And to be honest I really don't want anyone from FTWD poisoning the original show. If Madison ends up on TWD I will not be happy.

for sure

Meh. Don't like the idea myself but whatever.

FEAR just referenced Houston and Texas specifically in the Season Finale as a possible destination for some of the characters, isn't that where Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita began their adventure to head out east?

reply

yes it is. i’m guessing abraham will be making an appearance.

reply

I guess Michael Kudlitz needs something to do🙄

Yawn. It's a stunt, pure and simple. AMC is still trying to salvage the ratings for their crapfest semi-spinoff FTWD to stop its ratings slide that's moving closer to a cancellation point.
