what do you want from next season?

Really, I just want the predictability of character deaths to go. Give us something shocking again, like Carl bitten by a random walker in the fifth episode.

Just good quality writing and scenes like we saw in season one, the season that got me hooked on this show. The last few seasons, for me the quality has gone down and some of the situations have become more ridiculous.

Also, if you have no intention of killing of Negan than no more scenes in which main characters, that want to kill Negan, end up ten feet away from Negan with an automatic weapon but instead of shooting just sit there and listen to Negan talk until someone sneaks up and nabs him (like Carl did in the back of the truck).

Yeah good quality, stories and acting. No filler episodes.

I'm not sure I can who lives or who dies anymore. Loved Carol, but agree she's become tiresome & totally worked out.

I just find Negen completely obnoxious when he's gloating, which is pretty much all the time. Thus if Rick & Co could just possibly avoid falling into Negen's next few traps, or aligning themselves with people who will betray them to Negen. In short, avoid pulling a Jon Snow/King In The North at the Battle of the Bastards.

I think Carol could go this season. And maybe should? I know (minor spoiler) she died a while back in the comics, so she's outlived her counterpart.

They like to throw the death of an original in every now and then, but of course that group is dwindling more each time, so they have to be more sparse with those deaths. Rick has plot armor, seemingly Carl does too. They're not going to be ready to get rid of Morgan yet. He's to new among the group, and they seem to have plans for him. To kill Daryl would usher in a revolution the likes of which we've never seen before.

But. Carol. Seems like they've run out of road for Carol. I mean, really, where can they go with her character now? They've brought her personality full-circle. Starts out weak, becomes strong, goes back to being weak, then strong again. And since they've made that a plot point, sort of hard to back away from it now. And in Season 7, she just felt to me sort of cast out because they didn't really know what to do with her. My guess is they'll make her a BAMF again, and then she'll get killed off in a blaze of glory, saving one of her own and/or taking out one of Negan's main guys.

To quit killing off their good characters just for shock value.

And to see them begin to wrap this show up..show how they resolve it and move forward. And end it. It's had its run and nothing new is being done with it...same ol schtich each season.

It's time for this show to put a bullet in it's head.

Yeah, this show is begging to be ended. They are killing the characters due to the fact that they can't come up with anything new.
