The show won't survive Season 8

This show was on a great high until that dopehead Negan pranced his effeminate way swinging his bat or wood thing whatever the fook it is.

Negan has killed this show stone dead.

Our favourite characters are now just shadows of their former selves.

Rick is a soppy in love bore.

Daryl has only said about 20 words in 14 episodes. And I think I am being generous.

Carl, has he DIED?????????????????

Other characters have disappeared.

Eugene is a traitor.

The whole season has sucked big time. Out of 14 episodes only around three were any good. Good but not great.

Your whole points prove the need for at least two more seasons. ;)

Maybe season 8 and 9 but I think that's it. I think Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus won't stay beyond that , maybe not even beyond 8. If the writers continue with this poor writing, I see them jumping ship, and who could blame them. I

I have always thought that if Andy leaves the show , so will I.

There is no TWD without Licoln. He is the essence of the show. The protagonist.

reply

Yes he is

reply

Perhaps the point of their poor writing is to kill the show dead and make it 'turn'

reply

Hah😆That was funny

After the last episode, I am struggling with watching . I don't even care about the season finale , next week.

The walking dead was my fav show until the start of this season! It has to end soon imo. I cant take no more!

IMO, it caters to SJWs to much. It is scared to push the limits for fear of offending! The more the world has turned snowflake, the more the walking dead has turned PC!

I've been ahead of the plot for TWD from having read the comics before the show premiered, and the TV version has followed what has transpired in the comic about 80%.

I finally quit the comics shortly after the Negan-arc of stories concluded because I thought the following story-arc with a new group/threat known as The Whisperers was just too silly to take seriously. If the TWD (TV) continues to use the comic story as it's guide for its plot and does indeed make this the next direction the story will take, then it looks like I'll be saying farewell to the show probably at the end of season 8 or early in season 9. I won't miss it...The Walking Dead now is not the same show anymore quality-wise that it was when it first premiered.
