Ollie Bunker (Weeks)

Hello, I am on Season 4, and I just finished disc #2 (I forget if it is episode 6, 7 or 8 BUT Gloria (Jayne Eastwoods) character talks about kayaking with her best 'gay' friend Olly Bunker ..Banks...I forget. But, it seems like I remember the character Ollie Weeks from "The Mist" (Book) was gay (alluded too I think). Just wondered if anyone else caught this possible connection? Also, the Indian burial ground from Pet Semetary I think they talked about it in the same season 4 on Haven as well just pronounced different? Just curious if anyone thought there maybe some similarities? Thanks
