All very good movies.

I haven't seen Alien Abduction or The Purge so I'll give them a go. Dark Skies is excellent, I've watched it quite a few times. It's on Netflix at the moment and I'm going to watch it again now you've mentioned it :)

The Dead Zone is very good - faithful to the book. I didn't like the TV series that much.

The only one I don't agree with is the '95 version of Village of the Damned. I'm of the age that I saw the 1960 original as a kid. It's an American made film set in rural England. It started a life-long love of science fiction. If you don't mind watching black and white films I highly recommend it. The 1964 'Children of the Damned' sequel isn't too bad either.
