Shaky Cam BS

Its obvious from the trailer that super shaky cam will make this unwatchable. Why must they get cute and try to make the footage seem more authentic? Viewers dont want that. Viewers dont want a headache. Tired of this. Just show me the content filmed with a normal lense. Shaky cam doesnt add to suspense, it just adds to a migraine.

If you were correct, camera shaking movies would all lose money and no one would see them because no one likes getting a headache.

You are obviously not correct. I, myself, nor anyone I have ever known has ever gotten a headache from watching these movies. Maybe you have a medical condition. Good luck with that.

Correction, those who aren't inferiors do not want shaky cam BS. The subhumans throw money at these crappy fictional docs.

reply

Well, Hitler, considering found footage movies are less than 8% of all films released every year, why do you care? Is it not possible for you to not watch a movie? That sounds inferior to me.

reply

They are not correct. I've never known anyone to enjoy this kind of garbage.

Just like Blair witch was a failure then years later they talk about how successful it was ...

They need shaky cam to cover the fact that it's a bad movie.

It's like those crappy fake "reality" shows on TruTV... like faker than normal reality shows, genuinely and admittedly scripted shows about repo guys and stuff.

If they aired those as scripted shows like "Hey, this is sit-com about a bunch of repo guys!" people would realize that they suck. But, because a lot of people don't realize it's scripted and think they're watching something real, they're more forgiving of it. They don't expect the polish and quality of a better sitcom.

Same idea here... Because people suspend disbelief and buy-in to the "found footage" premise, they're more forgiving of the weak material and low-budget production.

Shaky cam in an action movie where they have tripods is stupid.
Shaky cam in a film with handheld or concealed cameras on people, has to happen.
If it looked like a steady cam it wouldn't make sense, why are there numerous threads on here about this? it's ridiculous and very straightforward.

reply

Exactly, it's found footage, not found chests of 35mm cans.
