I've seen 4-5 episodes, and I'm already sick of it. Since all they ever make are cupcakes, there's not enough variety from one episode to the next.

Exactly. My point is that this is not a sufficiently robust concept for a successful TV series.

Seriously, it's a fun little mindless show. It has cupcakes, two hot carpenters, ridiculous things no one with a brain would ever in a million years put in a cupcake and a guy you can't understand without subtitles. It's fun.

I love it! Although, I didn't know that EVERY cupcake baker is so whimsical, perky, obnoxious and eccentric!! Oh, and they all wear tutus!!!

shareNone of the competitors are as bad as Candace. Her schtick is so cheesy. She makes the corniest jokes about the good and bad points of each cupcake. It's so annoying. Justin is just as bad. Speaking of Justin...I want to find his closet and shred every black suit and white dress shirt...I mean seriously...wear some freaking color!!!

I have seen every episode. It's a cheesy show but it's mindless tv that I 'watch' while doing other things like playing games on facebook. I look up to see the completed cupcakes every round and then at the end to see the displays. I like it because I don't have to pay much attention to the show and still get the gist of it lol. I do have to admit that some things annoy me though. Candace and her bad jokes, Justin wearing the same suit every show and his bad jokes, and the fact that there is going to be someone every round who will make horrible mistakes but rectify them just in time...all in the name of drama.

I do this too, basically "watch" the episode while doing other things. Every round for judging I pay attention, b/c I like looking at the cupcakes and being jealous of those judges.
