Caki's Body

If you pay attention, after Caki (Vuk Kostić) dies next to a broken telephone pole, the aerial footage shows the place, with blood trail to the pole, but instead of Caki's body - there is a fresh grave. Body is nowhere to be seen, even if his position was with back to the pole, and face towards the road.
Regarding the fact that this is the very end of the movie, closure, I believe it is highly important to take it in consideration when evaluating the message, or analyzing the movie, what happens in it and the way director wanted to show us all of that.
And, in addition, Caki is said to have left his studies to join the war. The scene after his death shows number 19 on a broken telephone pole - which is, notice it, broken so that it resembles a cross. War in Bosnia ended in December 1995 (officially). Caki, probably, was 19 years old when he joined it.
Did Caki die there and then, or he died when joined the war, at 19 years of age.
Remember that he said that they're IN HELL.
One of the ways one may interpret the movie is that all of the characters are already dead. Now, are they in hell or the purgatory - who knows. Except for Danica. She did bloody her hands in the movie, but was the only character that went up that hill, by road, toward the new life, leaving the war behind, toward the tree that, often, is used for symbolising life. What she did was to save another human. It was not an act of violence. And when she says that she has a choice - she is leaving to be reborn.
The subject is too complex, but in this comment I am trying to leave a mark that movie can be interpreted in numerous ways. What stands for a fact is that symbolism about leaving the war behind, and rebirth, hell and existence are weaved together, and when one tries to find meaning of the movie - he shouldn't be polarized to any of it, but to see the "big picture".
This movie is beautifly complex, just as life and the questions about it that are proposed in it.
