Bad acting

The movie was painful to watch in the opening.
It might be the illustration of the writer's egoism and personal void, I suppose. The character himself admits that his own life is boring and uninteresting. I don't find the dialogs very interesting, nor funny until the romance begins. (nobody laughed in the theater)

But the scene in the stairs between the two men is played badly, in my opinion. The words are badly delivered, and the moves are wrong.

Did you see it in original version, or dubbed?
I liked it as it was but I'm also a fan of Albert Dupontel.

I'm a GREAT fan of albert Dupontel. First movie or show I watched with Jean Dujardin (his tw show is famous, but I unplugged my tv long ago). Liked both of them.
I had the show in french (my mother tongue).

It seems to me that the reason of awful mood that had been given to audience is not bad acting but is ridiculous story about an incarnation of the cancer that looks like schizophrenia.
