What was that?...

Anybody noticed the strange 'intermission' scene some 93 minutes into the film? I'm talking about some 8 seconds during which you can see some rural view - some trees and a field - and you also can hear some cheerful tune in the background. Given that it's placed between two rather serious if not dramatic scenes (the exposition and the 'I got my period - have you got a spare tampon' scene) it looked REALLY absurd to me.
What's this rural view doing in a middle of a film entirely placed in modern Berlin? And what's with the hilarious tune? An autoparody? Or am I just stupid and miss some meaning?

Appreciate any ideas.

I just watched this & for what I may perceive, Tykwer might have been alluding the simplicity, the foolishness of nature itself. The whole irony of this woman being pregnant now after so long, the exploration of human nature itself which runs from instinct to the deep caverns of the human mind which harbor the philosophical thought. Same as the opening scene with the statements while two power line chords run simultaneous & parallel, it's symbolic.
