Question about Cathy's request for her brother to go to Oregon.

I think it's legal for doctors in Oregon to prescribe a lethal dose for the terminally ill - but only for it's residents, correct?
So then, is this poetic license on the writer's part? Or do out-of-state residents have some legal access too? If so, I would like to know. Cuz I was planning on moving to Oregon or Washington when I get old, or if I become terminally ill, but maybe now I don't have to? I could just send my son to get the stuff.
If you're going to tell me that Sean was going to obtain it illegally, well, if he was able to do that, then why travel? He could do that in his own state.

If you should feel really happy, be patient. It will pass.

I am pretty sure you have to be a resident in the state of Oregon in order to get the drug.

not sure about the rules. but as sad as it sounds lots of different ways to do it. there are under-groups as the show somewhat touched on.
in states that have it, they give you some prescription drugs. you actaully go to a reg. pharmacy to pick them up.
the majority of people who pick up these meds, actaully never use them.

how to die in oregon if you have not seen it was a great doc hbo did a few years ago
