Loved Downey and Law, loved the action sequences, and the rivalry between Holmes and Moriarity. Loved how the took the original storyline and added a comic book feel to it. Plus, I loved how creepy and sinister Jared Harris is. I hoped he get noticed more now that he's done this movie.
I really enjoyed it too and the 'chess game' between Sherlock and Moriarity was a favorite part for me...having two great minds battle it out in such a verbal and non-verbal manner...

So much fun this one was. I like this one far more than the first.
This is a movie you have to watch a few times (at least for me) in order to catch all little important things that are happening. I love movies like that.
I found it Fun, intelligent and suspenseful.
I actually like the introduction of Shirley's (Sherlock Holmes) brother, unlike user reviewer above (in the user review section). He was funny and I didn't think his introduction into this move was superfilous (sp?) at all.
This film was tremendous fun. I would recommend watching it two or three times at least just to catch all the details...it's that fast moving.
shareI've liked both movies. I probably prefer the first one better because there was more Rachel McAdams, but i cant help by enjoy action AND intelligence in the same movie. Its just rare to see it.
Plus, Morton Downey Jr has so much charisma that he can pull off anything. Really likeable actors playing fun, smart roles. Cant wait to see the 3rd one.
Indeed,yes..good snappy production.I cannot stop watching the dvd.
However,I do not think Ms.McAdams is a well trained actress at all...her alleged beauty is not what it seems{in person}..due to the huge facial and neck moles which to me should be removed for the two reasons...the second being a precursor to cancer.
In my area of medicine....young patients have passed away in their early thirties from one large facial mole that metastasizes..oh well.
The film I gave it an 8!
