Nice try, mostly didn't work

It's got to be hard to make a "Christian movie," whatever that is. Not just removing negative/objectionable content, but actually showing how God can work in the lives if those who trust Him, how He takes miserable things like this and can turn them beautiful.

I get what they were going for, and appreciate the effort, I just can't don't think that anyone who doesn't ALREADY know Christ is going to have a spiritual breakthrough from this film. The protagonist was TOO perfect; I surround myself with Christian women and I don't know anyone who is that perfect all the time. She had a couple of little teary moments, but we didn't see her actually STRUGGLE, and her faith wasn't shaken even a little... really?

Stephen Baldwin is a good guy who is giving his name and support to movies he believes in; you know he wasn't in it for the money. It's too bad there's not some better writers willing to do the same.

I know a handful of women like Julie. Granted they're not as plentiful as they once were, but they are still out there. The ones I know would probably respond in the same way, as far keeping the baby goes anyway.

As far as no one having an epiphany because of this movie, don't underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit, because it is He that draws people, not feelings and not emotions.

My Tae Kwon Do instructor tells me I'm just two moves away from becoming quite threatening!
