I suggest you separate "religion(manmade, known)" from "godlikes(unknown; unproven)." If talking about "godlikes" immediately trapped you into thinking this episode was about religion, you're being more philosophical than scientific.

Which is fine! This program is definitely philosophical, but I assure you there is no covert religious agenda.

Enjoy these words, for one day they'll be gone... All of them.

I'm halfway through the first episode...I think the "God"/"Creator" count is at a couple of dozen.

Pity because the CGI looks quite good, but can't continue watching it knowing that it is obssesed with this nonsense.

Lots of planets have a Scotland...

Did you actually watch the show? It's a very scientifically balanced enquiry about the fundamental scientific questions we still face. And a creator cannot be dismissed with scientific evidence - to the point where it's convincingly posited we may be a computer simulation.

I've just got through 25mins of the first episode. The God nonsense is coming up too much. Is this a show that is about science and represents the views of the scientific community? Because God hasn't been a serious candidate for an explanation of the universe for hundreds of years.

Which is, why I stopped watching this show, after one season. Too much god, religion *beep* in it. It annoyed the *beep* out of me, although I really liked the idea of the show .. and Morgan Freeman. Too bad they did this Religion pandering.
