I would give it a ten. I find the format really effective, and I love how they tend to combine controversial scientists with those who aren't. Admittedly, I have my issues with some of them, but I am happy that so many sides are presented because it stretches the horizon and you begin to wonder about things you hadn't given a lot of thought to before. It's a show that is tailor made for seasoned practitioners of critical thinking.
shareAn episode begins with the presentation of an interesting topic and then jumps to an easy answer which most people may think but then he makes a different Hypothesis.
We then move forward with the science we do know and talk to professionals as well as conduct experiments. In this type of show we are never force fed answers which cannot be proven but we are left with a larger curiosity then when we entered.
I would have to give the 1st 5 seasons a 10. There is just way too much good stuff there to not.
Season 6 was lacking not just in content but ideas seem to be losing their impact.
Season 7 I just hope it gets better.
