Did We See The Killer Beforehand?

He wasn't the waiter, was he?

reply

No, he wasn't the waiter.

The identity of the killer is revealed towards the end of the movie. I don't want to say anymore as not to ruin it for anybody else.

In Kidman's case, it's nice to see her lately immovable forehead participating in her performance - Rabbit Hole Review, Variety.

And if anyone's reading messageboards before they've seen a film, they're silly. Messageboards are there to discuss a film: no one's going to not talk about an ending just in case some wally finds out the ending!

reply

Yeah, when we saw the killer, I was wondering if he was the waiter too for a moment.

reply

No, he wasn't the waiter ... I'm curious who he is, also lol.

ETA - Just got towards the very end. The killer is Soledad's son, Angel. Soledad is the lady who befriended Sara and who Julia speaks to towards the beginning. Soledad showed Julia a picture of her family and said her son, Angel, took care of her for years, then ran off. Towards the end, Julia is in Soledad's house and tells Soledad to call the police. The killer says "don't do it, mom." That's when the killer is revealed. I don't remember him being show except when Julia looks at Soledad's family picture.

We see 'Ivan' at the hospital beforehand - there's a quick shot of a patient hugging and crying out for him, before he shuts the ward door.

reply

You mean the "Ivan" who laid in the murder's freezer?

reply

Oh whaaat?! I thought it was the waiter who also happened to be the son Angel. Dang I liked the idea that we saw the killer earlier on. I'm kind of disappointed now. But I guess it wouldn't make sense since it seems like nobody looks at Angel and if your a waiter...well people will be looking at you all the time for your orders. -_-

You people need to watch the movie instead of writing on message boards about how you missed painfully obvious plot reveals.

reply

Thats what i was thinking. Why am i seeing so many people on boards before watching the damn movie? Stop coming to the message boards during the movie. Are you 12 and you can't pay attention to the movie?
