Lo recomiendo, no quedarais con una mala impresion o susto:).
Some Spanish movies do indeed rock - rec is one - but this was rubbish, a corny slasher movie.

Another Spanish horror worth checking out is The Silent House.
shareI watched TSH recently and about halfway through I realized I was watching Paranormal Activity but in color, in Spanish and with a bigger budget. Still a good, unsettling horror film compared to what Hollywood turns out.
I must be jaded or something but I still can't figure out why so many people found PA so scary. By the way, some of the Blair Witch Project was shot in Gaithersburg, Md where I live. Goes to show what you can do with very little money.
On the other hand, Disney just pulled the plug on The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp. $250,000,000 on a western! My friend of years ago Larry McMurtry tried revitalizing the western with Lonesome Dove, but it didn't help.
This. Was. Terrible.
The beginning had some suspense, but it quickly devolves into every "scary" moment being underscored by a loud noise, which gets old really fast.
Also once she starts to lose her eyesight, the plot really becomes so silly it's impossible to feel any kind of scared. Also I lost count of the times I was annoyed with how stupid Julia was, as well as all the subplots that were jammed in there and were never used for anything.
I'd love to see the Rifftrax for this though.

I loved it too. The plot is totally insane, full of crazy twists and red-herrings, perhaps more than most people can bare and we have to admit it doesn't always make sense (and that's why I wouldn't recommend this movie to everyone...only for the people who are really used to watch crazy horrors films), but well, once you let yourself go on this rollercoaster... it's awesome. I loved the second half when you can't be sure of anything.
