Why Does October look like June??

They keep saying it's October and Halloween but the wardrobe, at least for Cammy, makes it look like June.

I know there's global warming but Canada can't be that hard hit that folks wear tee shirts and summer dresses on All Hallow's....

Halloween in British Columbia would be rainy and cold, and the leaves would've been turned or fallen off the trees already.
To be dressed like that, it'd have to be July.

I thought the same thing. It's a HUGE plot hole. What were they thinking?

reply

It was a choice: realistic (sweaters and coats) wardrobe or classic horror (more to see and enjoy)

reply

It was a good decision then.

More to see and enjoy? Maybe if there was some T&A! For all I saw they might as well have been wearing parka's!

Are you kidding? The main cutie was wearing tight jeans the whole time, the blond wore jean shorts and, later, a short dress, and then there was the stunning brunette in a Halloween costume consisting of a short dress and sexy stockings.

I never noticed any tight jeans. The blonde was hoochy, that isnt sexy.

And neither was stunning. They were like, 14. Are you in high school or something?

And please dont say "cutie". That has to be the gayest word ever, and seems to pedophiliac for me too.

Re: "I never noticed any tight jeans."

If you were a red-blooded dude you would have.

Re: "The blonde was hoochy, that isnt sexy."

She didn't strike me as slutty and, again, if you were a dude you'd find her sexy.

Re: "And neither was stunning." They were like, 14. Are you in high school or something?"

Beauty is in they eye of the beholder and I found them "stunning."

Re: "They were like, 14. Are you in high school or something?"

Yeah, right. The characters in the film were around 17-19, but the actresses were well into their 20s.

Re: "And please dont say "cutie". That has to be the gayest word ever,"

I think it's a perfectly fitting word for the blond. Actually, using the word "gayest" to describe something you don't like pinpoints that you're still in jr. high school. No offense.

Re: "and seems to pedophiliac for me too."

Well, since the starlets are well into their 20s there goes that theory.

Besides, how is it "pedophiliac" to simply acknowledge that a young woman -- or even a girl -- is good-looking? Just because I walk by a flower bed and acknowledge the beauty of the flowers doesn't mean I'm gonna jump in and start pulling them out by the roots!

I think perhaps that you are just envious of the attractive actresses.

It's coming on in an hour on SyFy. I read the same reviews. It was either a bad costumer or Summer should have been the chosen time-frame. If they were going for scantily clad, there are several costumes that could have fit the bill for October, or at least some tight clothing with cleavage bearing shirts. However, everyone is saying that the cast was unseasonably dressed for a hot summer during Halloween, which is unheard of.

I know the movie was shot in British Columbia, but the story takes place in Hollowglen, Colorado (check out the license plates, disregarding the travelers from Kansas).

Filmmakers -- especially those of the low-budget variety -- shoot their films when it's most feasible, not when it's technically accurate. The hailed "Halloween" (1978), for instance, was shot in Los Angeles in the Spring of 1978 and its painfully obvious it's not the end of October, but I never hear anyone complain. Why does "Halloween" get a pass while the lower-budgeted "Goblin" is picked apart?
