New Sub Genre
I guess ever since Fargo we have the 'snowbound noir' sub genre. (Simple Plan being an early Fargo imitator.) Thin Ice was trying to be Fargo, and it's not bad, but it doesn't come close.
I don't have a signature.
Did you like the ending? It bothered me more because I missed the opening monologue where Kinner hinted things didn't turn out the way expected. I thought it had a promising story as a real unfaked event.
