As funny as Kia's talkdown of Freddy was before Jason sliced her up, the moment the writer was talking about where Kia said she wasn't afraid of Jason anymore and then Freddy pointed out she wasn't afraid of the wrong killer anymore would have been an epic moment.
Disney owning Hellraiser...that in itself is disturbing.
But yes, that would've been a cool way to end FvJ. They both go back to hell, still beating the *beep* out of each other, then chains appear from nowhere to restrain them. Pinhead then appears like some sort of *beep* up marriage counsellor to talk it over with the two of them.
They no longer do. The only reason Disney owned Hellraiser was because they were owned by Miramax. But now that The Weinstein Company plans on buying back Miramax, they'll be in charge of Hellraiser once more.
I think it meant that since she was doing what Nancy had done in the first NOES, saying I take back all the power I ever gave you... I'm not afraid of you anymore, that when Freddy said "wrong one bitch" meant that she had mixed up the stories. Saying that would have no effect on Jason.
I love that. I wish they would have kept it in.
"Jesus loves you. Everyone else thinks your an a**hole." - Father Dyer (Exorcist III)
^ Agreed, little homage to the first film. Though it did sound a little cheesy, it was 10x better than Kia ripping on Freddy before Jason gave her a whack. Glad the writers didn't actually write it. Should've kept it in, plus Freddy would've got an extra kill.
After watching this doc, it seems like every single idea that didn't make it into the movies, but was intended, would have made each movie so much better. The dead girl doll, the extended motorcycle transformation scene, the extended force-eating scene, the excised lines from early scripts, the claw car...
"You're paying too much for your worms, boss. Who's your worm guy?"
It's odd how everyone seemed so remorseful and upset that Kelly said "f*ggot," but the alternate dialogue would have had Freddy say to her 'Wrong one, bitch.' How is "bitch" any less derogatory? It's like, seriously, put a band-aid on the bleeding heart.
