How about a new A Nightmare On Elm Street game with Robert Englund?

Since they aren't gonna make a new Freddy movie ever again with Englund, do you think it would be cool if they made a videogame sequel of the old Freddy movies with Englund doing voice work as Freddy? Like imagine if they did a storyline where you are in a coma and are stuck in Freddy's dream world, and you gotta survive in it while fighting Freddy's monsters and stuff. I think that would be pretty cool. :P

Or even better, what if you got to play as Jason Voorhees (who gets stuck in a coma) and are stuck in Freddy's dream world?

I would love that BUT the problem is that it will be for an extremely specific audience, hardcore fans like us.It's the same issue with the documentary unfortunately , only a very specific audience are interested. The general public are thinking that there's a new Freddy and the old one is old news so a game with Robert England would be great for the fans but they wont make a lot of money out of it.

Well, as far as the general public is concerned, the PD's remake didn't really hit the spot they were hoping for. It resonated with SOME people, but a lot found it disappointing.

As for a game, I'd all for it. It could very well do wonders. Hell, you can cast, basically, Heather Langenkamp as Nancy again(but this time, as a VA), and maybe work in the angle of the Beautiful Dream. I always thought an interesting idea had Freddy ever been a final boss battle, you confront his true monsterous self. The undying heart of Freddy, which is a giant of twisted, burnt flesh, breathing embers, with a furnace grafted to his chest(that contains all the souls of his victims, burning within him, and a massive arm with a giant claw hand that looks like the one Matthew Peak has done in some of his past arts(the one they based New Nightmare's Freddy glove on). With the help of Nancy, you have to break open his furnace chest and release his power, almost in a sort of "Shadow of the Colossus" type of way.

Dude, that would be SWEET! Would Jason Voorhees appear in the game at all? Maybe Jason could be a boss of one of the levels, and they could explain him being there like this: following the events of Freddy vs. Jason, Freddy can use Jason's avatar in the dreamworld to taunt his victims, even if it isn't really Jason himself. Freddy knows that Jason's likeness is a good tool to scare the hell out of his potential victims even if he hates Jason himself, so he figures, "Why the hell not?" So it would be a way of having Jason as a cameo in the game without actually having him in the game. What would you think of this?

I would personaly like a fighting game with all Slasher characters from the 80's early 90's,that would be fun!! Jason VS Freddy , Chucky VS Candyman and on...

Lol would Pinhead be included in this? Cause if so seeing him do a roundhouse kick would seem really silly to me.
