I love this documentary and yet it saddens me. House that Freddy Built

Well I remember many years ago, on VHS I saw 1 of the Freddy movies and it was not New Line Cinema it said "New World", then I said....hmmm that must've been before the name change. I'm really surprised they didn't bring that up. That being said, I get sad, yeah "really sad" when they kept using the phrase - The House That Freddy Built. Why ??

I LOVED New Line Cinema with a huge passion. If it wasn't for Freddy, we couldn't have blockbuster movies for the independent company New Line, such as -

The Lord of the Rings Series
Austin Powers Series
Dumb and Dumber
Friday Series
Blade Series
Rush Hour Series
Final Destination Series

Sooo what makes me sad ? Well I thought New Line Cinema had wonderful movies, wonderful dvds with lots of features - Platinum Series and the soundtracks to the movies. They "really knew" what they were doing. So back in 2001, I wrote New Line an email and they responded with the same sincerity as I did. I actually wanted to be part of the company. I didn't care as a actor, writer, producer, I didn't care. Just so I can say I was part of something. So I still have that email and I never got a chance to jump on their internship. Unfortunately, "life happens" and things out of our control.

When they said in the interviews, if you were an intern or whoever was with the company at the time, if you had an idea "we'd listen to it". *sigh*

Also, I used to work as a temp a few times for Williams/Midway in Chicago and so did my Pops. Our company obviously made Mortal Kombat and well...."WE both got bought out" = YAY !!!! Warner Brothers got Mortal Kombat and New Line.

So I have much more I'd love to get off my chest. So I can't sleep worth S%it and I'm watching The Dream Master while I wrote this. Whenever I see that logo before a movie starts and that "New Line" logo shows up, I'll always feel as it's a part of me. We were definitely connected. I "wish" when they did both documentaries "Never Sleep Again and The Camp Crystal Lake Stories" that I could've had at least 1-2 mins of face time, saying I was a part of something special.

So gooooooooooooo ahead, some POS be ready to mock my post and get their jollies. You KNOW there's someone out there, trying to use their energy to steal another's joy.

PS. I want to thank 1428 Films. Thank you for both documentaries. I hope at least 1 billion horror fans watched :)
