Could somebody fill me in on the ending please?...

Hello all!

I watched the wonderfully-acted "The Sunset Limited" last night! I took 2 Tylenol PM's before it started. Well, I ALMOST made it to the end! :)

The last thing I recall is...they ate some dinner together, then I'm sure I caught about 5 minutes after that. Could somebody spoil the ending for me please?

You've missed about 1/3 of the movie then, iirc. I can tell how it ends, but that will be meaningless, because this movie is about the discussion they're having. Anyway, in short: they both split ways at the end, but nothing has really changed. White is still sick of life and Black is in despair about not having been able to change White's mind.
