Sequel?

Does anyone know if there is going to be a sequel to this movie?
I mean, say what you want, but I did like it, even if the plot line was pretty ridiculous i still thought it was good to watch. Also, the actors are attractive.

I enjoyed it too as an adventure movie, and would like to see a sequel as well.

It flopped in the U.S.

Unless they make a sequel and release it in other countries and then send it straight to dvd in the U.S., I don't see it happening.

I want a sequel, but it's most likely not going to happen.

I refuse to accept that Resident Evil can get five sequels, and we can't get just one for this film?

Piranha 3D even got a sequel?? WTF?

I really enjoyed this movie, so I want a sequel!

reply

Agreed! I loved this movie and I want one too.

You said it perfectly Peter! Ive never read the book but for what its worth, I LOVED this movie!

All you kids should get together and make a sequel yourselves. Couldn't be any worse than the first.

The movie was stupid but moderately entertaining.
The ending certainly set it up for a sequel but, as others have said, it was far from a massive box office success so a sequel seems doubtful.

This movie was GREAT!!! I want a sequel too!! Please!!! I loved how they took liberties with the book, actually. Miledy is alive, Constance is alive, way to go! Yey to invasion of La Rochele, next chapter! Would love to see how they insert Milady in there, and how Orlando deals with her after her betrayal. This movie was really an excellent version of the 3 musketeers, one I could only hope for in a tragic Dumas film. I love happy endings, what can I do.

me too. watching it again right this second. if i had money when it came out i would of saw it in the theater. never read the book so all the changes to storyline dont affect me. action and fx wise this is sooooo much better then the disney version which is a good comedy version of the story. they really need to make a sequel. but prpbably wont. like with the last air bender never watched the cartoons but loved the movie but since it didnt make its money back in box office he wont continue the storyline. battleship is another one i wish i had the money for. some battle scenes are just so much more awesome on the big screen. its why i saw the lotr trilogy 11-7-5 times in the theater back when i had time and money and the tickets werent over 10 bucks. now i'm making sure i see the movies i want to see in the theater to help make them money no matter what critics reviews say. i never usually agree with them anyway. (have a friend who takes me now that i have no car and he pays for tickets and i pay for lunch which works out very well)
