Contrived jackpots winners?

I'm pretty obsessed with this show and i have started to notice they may select the rounds and final question to the strengths of certain couples. I first noticed this on a (completely honorable) episode where one of the contestants was a recovering cancer victim. He worked for the UN as a translator and got rounds like European borders, French phrases and their English translation. He went on to win the jackpot and donated it to the charity which had help him through his troubles. Since then I've noticed they build the jackpot up to record amounts and then attempt to give it away to young couples with new family's. I've no problem with this just wondered if anyone else had noticed this or am i being mental?

Also does anyone know what the acid jazz or Katie price final question might be?

reply

Yes, noticed something dodgy myself.........when you get a couple of 'lads'......the boxing and football question disappears.

I actually ADMIRE Lance Armstrong because when I took drugs, I couldn't even FIND my bike!

reply

Oh yes because lads only like football and women only like shoes *rolls eyes*.

I noticed this too. When the couple gets knocked out in their first try, on the second time round they have questions that the couple are more knowledgeable on.

I've always wondered what the Katie Price question is too, haha.

I've since found out Katie Price has her name on 35 books, i doubt she wrote any of them. This has to be the Katie price round. But shame on anyone who can achieve pointless with that group.

I think the Katie Price question would be 'How many lovers as Katie Price/Jordan had?'.............the answers would range from minor z-list here-today-forgotten-tomorrow 'celebrities', through footballers, soap actors resorted to doing seasonal pantomine, failed musicians and male models desperate for some limelight while they kick-start their own careers.
I bet theres at least 40 answers!

reply

If that was the case then stupid people would be winning all the time. I dare say that they aren't.
