They never show how she gets into the USA. A middle eastern man, coming from Mexico of all places, and the do not search the van? BS...She could have gotten any ones attention at border patrol. It is not a wave through system. Especially not for a middle eastern man. Nonsense.

But seriously, by the time he picked her up for the drive, they were already in Texas. The actual transport from MX to US took place when she was blacked out, and if you learn anything from this movie, one of those things is how porous the southern border is. She got smuggled across just like in real life, when anything can come right across into McAllen, Laredo, Juarez, etc.
(PS - Hopefully the main thing you learn is that human trafficking is bad...just wanted to toss that out there) :)
