Couldn't finish this film - now I understand the low rating

Before watching this, I was wondering how a film with a cast including Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, and Bill Paxton could have such a low average IMDb rating. Now I understand. Too hard to follow. Lots of fight scenes with not enough suspense. Soderbergh and the editor/s really dropped the ball on this one.

If you found Haywire opaque then I recommend you not go anywhere near other fine Soderbergh films, such as Solaris or Syriana.

Solaris and Syriana are great films . Haywire was a horrible mess of a picture . Such a waste of a great cast. Seems like a bruckhiemer or bay film .

Ragnarok-1, Soderbergh does have many fine films. This is not one. I'm feeling every word of the original post myself. So boring, it's strange.

I'm watching it right now and I have this feeling too. Weird acting all over.

I recorded this movie off TV a few weeks ago and by the time I got around to watching it last night I'd forgotten what it was about. Anyhow I started watching it and by the time the first ad break came along at about the 15 minute mark, I was so confused I still didn't know what the *beep* it was about. So I ended up having to look up the synopsis of the movie during the break. Armed with a brief plot line and a bit more some patience I guess I could say that by the time this strange little film had finished I probably understood about 70% of the ins and outs of the story. I agree with the eolloe and I can definitely see why it has such a low IMDB rating.

And the movie was just a cash grab for them.

This played last night on Cubavision which, by the way, has no commercial interruptions.

I had no idea what it was to begin with and it captivated me from the very beginning. As it played it I found it more and more engrossing. I don't know why you crybabies think it was bad.
