This movie is a mess.

Visually it's good lots of style but the story line is all over the place and time. They needn't have had her telling her story to a total stranger. She couldn't possibly disclose the smallest details of her work to anyone anyway. It's annoying to watch but well made at the same time. I could watch all of this if I wanted but I really couldn't care less about the lead character so I'm turning it off.

That's pretty much how I felt. Pacing and storytelling were messy to say the least. It also felt like Soderbergh had to cut the last hour of the movie to 15 minutes and leave out a proper conclusion. A missed opportunity, even though there are dozens of similar action thrillers out there.

45 minutes in this is one of the worst movies ever. The director and screenplay writer need to be shot on the spot. Movie makes no sense.

Yeah , it was a mess ! Horrible film . As much of a fan I was of Gina as fighter I found her acting wooden . The endless fight scenes bored me to death . The cast of great actors is totally wasted .

I'll agree on the pointlessness of her disclosing everything to that civilian. I thought the character would end up being more than an audience surrogate or an exposition dumpster. Alas, nope.

I think there was a throwaway line towards the end about how he had potential. But unless they were planning a Haywire sequel where she trains him, I don't see the point of that.
