BIG WARNING BEFORE BUYING OR RENTING!!!!!!!

If your like me and bought the 40 gig PS3 when it was the "cheap" model, be ready to erase damn near everything on your system. I finally got a chance to rent this game and when I put it in it says I need 4583 MB. Now if we do the math, that means the game needs just over 4gigs. WHAT THE F???? With all the stupid updates that come with these games theses days, my system is almost full. Halfway through erasing game data that I dont use, I realized even if I take all my game data off theres still not enough space. I DO NOT keep music, movies, pictures or anything else on there. Now I know Im going to get "well maybe you should get a bigger hard drive" or "see this dont happen on xbox". The one thing Ive always hated is, sometimes if you want to go online you cant unless you download the stupid updates 1st. This is not the Wii, STOP WITH THE SHOVELWARE SONY. I dont care if I can create silde shows with my PS3.

Or you could just get a PC and turn your console into, I don't know, a paper weight or something - I really can't imagine what a console would actually be good for. Then you won't ever have to worry that your toy isn't good enough to play modern games.

How's playing Minerva's Den on your PC? Oh that's right, it's only exclusive for the consoles. BTW, while us console owners allows actual friends in the same room for multiplayer, you're stuck alone looking for your online guild with your sticky PC.

Cool story, bro. Except when this topic is about renting or buying BioShock 2, not a essay about the graphical applications of the PC.
Content for this game to the PC has just caught up, but a year too late, especially when that game's only good DLC, Minerva's Den, isn't available for the PC yet. If you're not even talking about the game here, then why even bother posting? I'm certain there's a post about "PC vs Consoles" somewhere on here for that debate, but otherwise, you're just wasting time discussing these things on topics that don't relate to what you're talking about.
Besides, if you actually looked back at why I commented before, it was to retaliate to a guy who just trolls his way into the post for almost the same reasons, only it was just more trolling than just technical statistics. Sorry you're offended because you jumped the gun about what I said about the PC, but I'm sticking to the most content I can get for the game itself, not for the system it's on.

Well think about this, Bioshock 2 and many other games with this amount of memory like Heavy Rain were released when the 80 gig was the standard PS3 with the 120 gig and 250 gig being the new ones on the market so the developers now don't have the 40 gig on mind especially if it has been discontinued for a while.

Well you do have the option of swapping out the PS3 HDD with any 3rd party SATA drive. A 1 TB drive costs about 100 dollars and will expand your PS3 drive capacity by 25 fold.

On PC it installs 10Gb...
