Useless, brainwashed attitude

Andrea Penoyer - Stated that the "Most Evil" people out there were the DOPE DEALERS.

To quote:"Because they cause the "crack moms", "deadbeat dads", and prostitution (and I believe one other victimless crime, I forgot).

Wow. NONE of which or are violent crimes or of any long-term impact. Or at least wouldn't be if they were part of a legalized system for recreational items, rather than criminal penalities.

Crack moms just need birth control and social services, there's not much more that can be done. They are drunks if they can't get crack.

Loads of deadbeat dads are in a tight spot, and it's a *beep* charge that's easy to get headlines for A.G's and Prosecutors. Those deadbeat dads that are just irresponsible, may have NOTHING to do with drug dealers! Again, they can be pursued through many legal means that doesn't take cops to do.

Prostitution has NOTHING to do specifically with drugs - drugs may be used in the process, and so can alcohol or nothing at all.

She is an idiot who has been brainwashed to pursue the "drug wars" because the authorities have figured out it's much easier to arrest drug dealers that litter the street, than to do the hard work tracking down hard criminals.

Andrea dear, how about you get out there and prevent and/or track down some assaults, murders, major property theft, large financial frauds/embezzlements, child molesters, spouse abusers, child abusers, and then MAYBE if you get some spare time, you can go after the "evil" drug dealers.

Yes, there is SOME overlap with drug dealers and some domestic violence and other crimes, but dealers are rarely tracked down and prosecuted to stop theft and violence, it's almost always a prosecution of economics, to confiscate property and money - and to shut down the evil stream of drugs.

Well I don't know about the most dangerous, but I'd say someone who thrives on others addictions and capitalizes on it is pretty low.

No longterm impact huh? Do you actually see what poor conditions those communities on this show are in? Years of drugs and prostitution will do that to an area over time.

Those areas start out shtty and therefore are perfect breeding grounds for any illegal activity, not just drugs and prostitution.
Look at a city like Newark, NJ. Until the riots in the late 60's, Newark was a thriving city. The riots precipitated "white flight" and many businesses moved away. Now Newark is associated with drugs, violence and at one point was the car theft capital of the world.
When neighborhoods get gentrified, the lawlessness abates. Look at NYC's Lower East Side if you need an example.
